Application for Math Pathways: Data Science Foundations (DSF) Course
For districts/schools that wish to apply for the Data Science Foundations (DSF) course (Algebra 2 equivalent) for the 2024-25 school year. PLEASE COMPLETE ONE FORM FOR EACH SCHOOL BUILDING THAT WOULD LIKE TO OFFER THIS COURSE.
  • FIRST-TIME APPLICANT BUILDINGS should use this as an application. 
  • RETURNING BUILDINGS should use this form to indicate whether or not they will be participating this year, and to update contact information.
COST: ESSER funding for Math Pathways training has ended. Schools enrolled in a Math Pathways course previous to the 2024-25 school year will not be charged to complete training. New Math Pathways applicants will be charged $2000 for two years of implementation training and support per building, per pathway (Mathematical Modeling and Reasoning, Data Science Foundations, Discrete Math/Computer Science). 

You will be asked for the following information [download read-only PDF of form for reference only]:
  • District contact information
  • School building contact information
  • Contact information for district representative
  • How you plan to participate in the 2024-25 school year (are you a first-time applicant, returning, etc)
  • Whether or not you have applied before
  • Whether you have similar classes in place
  • Which teachers/specialists will participate in teaching or supporting the course (including e-mail)
  • First-time applicants will need at least one teacher to submit a paragraph on why he/she wants to pilot or teach this course
  • Permissions from key school leadership
