Volunteers are at the heart of our work towards Zero Food Poverty, Zero Food Waste.
Since Kaibosh began in 2008:

• 3 branches – Wellington City, Hutt Valley, Kāpiti-Horowhenua
• 270+ volunteers
• Over 90 charities and community groups
• More than 50 businesses donating food
• 9.5 full time equivalent staff
Kaibosh provides food to more than 90 charities and community groups – including soup kitchens, food banks, drop-in centres, refuges, homeless support services, crisis centres, childcare centres, mental health support services, youth development organisations, refugee and migrant support services, marae and boarding houses. It's thanks to our team of dedicated volunteers that we're able to support these organisations in their much-needed work.

Also please note that volunteers are required to lift 20kg boxes of food and commit to volunteering with Kaibosh for a minimum of three months. If this is not possible, please contact
