🌲 Embrace the Beauty of Teijo National Park 🌲
Join us on April 19th for a once-in-a-lifetime experience on the overnight hike in the enchanting Teijo National Park, where the true essence of Finnish nature comes alive! This event is open to students and non students visiting or living in Finland.
Teijo National Park is a hidden gem, boasting serene lakes, lush forests, and historic ironworks villages where age-old traditions thrive. We'll embark on a journey through the park's lakeshores, marshes, and woodlands.
Our wilderness adventure includes a stay in a rustic cabin equipped with heating, a toilet, and even the luxury of swimming and sauna facilities. While it may be basic, it's our cozy haven amidst the elements.
During our hike, you'll master the art of nature map reading, orienteering, and essential hiking skills. Plus, dive deep into forest wisdom, and the secrets of herbalism🌿
At the cabin and during breaks, you'll learn the vital skills of fire-making, along with the basics of wilderness survival.
As evening falls, we'll delve into the essentials of camping, teamwork, and the art of crafting a traditional Finnish dinner over a crackling campfire. And what's a Finnish adventure without a soothing sauna session and a refreshing swim after a day of exploration?
During the evening activities you have a change to learn about the mysticism of Finnish forests while preparing a soothing tea with the herbs and berries while learning how to do crepes with a secret recipe! What better place to share stories than next to a warming campfire under the starry night sky?
Our journey continues with special evening activities, leading to a peaceful night's rest in the heart of the wilderness. 🏕️
Pack your sense of adventure and get ready to explore Teijo National Park like never before! 🌿✨
