Referees needed for SDBA

Are you in grade 8 or older? Do you enjoy basketball and wish to make a few bucks?

SDBA is looking for youth referees for our community basketball league. No experience required.

We will be hosting several referee clinics in South Delta: The first one will be Sept 23rd 5:00-6:30 pm at the SDRC. There will be another one in November and one in the new year for those skills/confident enough to referee for the playoffs. (Those who are new to reffing or new to us must attend a clinic)

Our Head Referee will be running these clinic along with the help from some of our past experienced referees.

Games will be played on Friday nights between 5:00-9:30 pm and Sundays between 11-6 pm starting after the Thanksgiving weekend.

At their first scheduled game each new referee will receive an orange referee t-shirt and a whistle to be worn/used for all SDBA games. Returning referees are asked to bring their supplies from last year.
