The theme of the 2026 Port Orford Jubilee is "Farm, Fishing and Timber Port Orford 175 Years USA 250 Years".

The parade starts at 11 am on Saturday, July 4, 2026. It runs down Highway 101 from 19th Street to 8th Street.

Parade line-up starts at 9:30 am. Go to the corner of 8th and Idaho Streets, and head north on Idaho Street to join the end of the parade line. We will check in with you.

Review and check each one.

All entries should be decorated and theme-related when possible. The theme of the 2026 Port Orford Jubilee is "Farm, Fishing and Timber Port Orford 175 Years USA 250 Years".

Entries broadcasting music or singing are strongly encouraged, and the Jubilee will make every effort to place them in the parade away from others playing music or having loud entries.

Entries are lined up in the parade in their order of arrival, other than keeping musical and loud entries separated. Line up between 9:30 and 10:30 AM along Idaho Street. From Highway 101, turn west on 8th Street, then right on Idaho Street to join the end of the line.

Equestrian entries stage at the horse arena in Buffington Park by 10:30 AM. They appear at the end of the parade, and must provide their own "pooper scooper".

Reasonable discretion should be used concerning the number of individuals permitted to ride on any entry “safely”. Individuals are allowed to walk beside an entry.

The Port Orford Jubilee encourages self- propelled floats. If a float is pulled by a vehicle, it should also be decorated to conform to the theme. Drivers must remain with entry vehicle.

All entries must clear all overhead obstacles. Maximum float/entry height is 14 feet.

The name, organization, or purpose of an entry should be clear and visible on each parade entry.

Participants and drivers will conduct themselves and operate vehicles or floats in a safe manner at all times.

Walking participants should be at least 10 years old or accompanied by an adult.

No unauthorized entry will be allowed on the parade route.

Parade participants are allowed to distribute items such as candy or samples along the parade route. However, for safety reasons, we do not want children running out into the street to get candy, so please encourage children to stay off the street and on the curb or sidewalks.

The Port Orford Jubilee hopes to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and community. While political parties are welcome to participate and be represented in the parade, we ask that they limit themselves to general representation and refrain from engaging in political commentary. Our goal is to provide a calm, relaxing and fun atmosphere for all participants and spectators, and appreciate your willingness to help us achieve this goal. Entry applications will not be accepted when the Port Orford Jubilee determines an entry to be controversial, unlawful, or inconsistent with the standards, the theme and the purposes of the Port Orford Jubilee parade. At any time after acceptance, an entry may not be allowed to participate in the parade if it deviates from the original application, violates any parade rule, or is deemed otherwise unacceptable by the Port Orford Jubilee.

PLEASE keep good momentum throughout the duration of the parade to avoid spaces, gaps and lag time between entries.

The entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the City of Port Orford and any of its directors, agents, employees or managers, as well as Port Orford Jubilee and its directors, agents or volunteers in case of injury, death, property loss, or damage from participation of the above entrant in this event.
