About the Speaker:
Shahid Mir has been one of the pioneer of Pakistan's IT industry. He was the first CEO of Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Government of Pakistan; a Federal Government body established for accelerating the development of Pakistani industry of software exports and attracting foreign investment. Moreover in the past, he has also served as an Advisor to the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan on IT matters.

Beside being an IT consultant, Mir was among the Pioneering Team that established Pakistan’s first Computer Science University, FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences.

As a tech entrepreneur, Mir  was the Founder / Chairman / Chief Executive Officer of Systems Research Private Limited., a leading brand-independent computing and management consulting organization, exporting software to Europe and the USA, and carrying out sizable computerization projects in the public and private sector organizations across Pakistan.

Mir has moderated and led 200+ Workshops, Seminars and Professional Development Programs in the field of Managerial Development and Information Technology for organizations such as USAID, AED, World Bank, etc.
