UNLP 2025: Registration for people based in Ukraine
We warmly welcome you to attend the fourth Ukrainian Natural Language Processing Workshop (UNLP 2025), held in conjunction with ACL 2025!

UNLP is taking place online, which means that the workshop will not have a physical room in Vienna, at ACL 2025. However, we are still planning for some get-togethers to enable in-person communication (see the options below).

When:
  • July 31, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM CET
  • August 1, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CET
What to expect:
  • amazing keynote speakers — Sebastian Ruder (Research Scientist at Meta, Germany) and  Illia Strelnykov (Data Scientist at YouScan, Ukraine);
  • the latest datasets and tools for processing Ukrainian;
  • presentations about innovative uses of LLMs in the Ukrainian context;
  • findings from our shared task on Detecting Social Media Manipulation;
  • a panel discussion on disinformation detection with business representatives;
  • and much more!
Attendance options:
  • Online via Zoom.
  • In person at the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) in Lviv, Ukraine, located at Kozelnytska st., 2A. UCU, a long-term partner of UNLP, booked an underground auditorium for the two days of the workshop. It will be a safe place to present your work and meet in person; the auditorium works as a shelter in event of an air raid alert. Last year, we had over 60 UNLP attendees in Lviv!
  • In person at Grammarly's Hub in Berlin, Germany, located at Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 29A, Pressehaus. Grammarly, founded in Ukraine and a trusted partner of UNLP, offered to host up to 20 workshop participants in its Berlin hub.

All registered participants will receive a Zoom link to their email address prior to the workshop.

This application form is for requesting free admission to UNLP 2025 for people currently based in Ukraine. All other requests for free admission, including Ukrainians based outside of Ukraine, will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the ACL 2025 committee.

Note: people not based in Ukraine may register via https://2025.aclweb.org/registration/.
