HNECC Primary Healthcare Workforce Survey
Help Shape the Future of Primary Healthcare in the Hunter New England and Central Coast

Thank you for your interest in participating in this survey. Your insights are essential to the Hunter New England and Central Coast PHN's efforts to understand the region's primary healthcare workforce needs, issues and solutions.

This survey is part of a broader workforce project commissioned by the PHN. We've partnered with Beacon Strategies, a health and social services consultancy, to develop a comprehensive primary healthcare workforce plan for the Hunter New England Central Coast region.

Your input will inform strategies for ensuring a sufficient and skilled primary healthcare workforce can meet the needs of the regions communities now and in the future.

The survey covers 4 key questions and takes less than 5 minutes to complete.

Current state assessment: to what extent does the primary healthcare workforce supply in your local community meet the actual healthcare demand of community members?

Defining current state: what is the most significant issue facing the primary healthcare workforce in your local community (e.g., shortages, burnout, skills mismatch, etc.) that prevents it from meeting demand?

Future state vision: considering the region's unique demographics and health trends, what does an ideal primary healthcare workforce look like 5-10 years from now (in terms of size, types of professionals, skills, and ways of working)?

Solutions: what primary healthcare workforce programs or initiatives should the PHN and key partners invest in to build a sustainable workforce that meets the needs of your community into the future?

The survey is confidential and all responses will be de-identified.
