GALA Commission Interest Form
Hello! Thanks for your interest in partnering with us (Podd Brothers) to create beautiful music for choirs! As you know by now, we love to take familiar songs, and reimagine them for choirs in creative ways. We are interested in bringing power and expression to the choir, while highlighting the lyrics and poetry that make these songs so special to begin with. 

Here is a list of songs we're thinking about these days that we hope to gather support around by gauging interest below.

Let's talk about money.
This work is our livelihood, and for that we are so grateful! Our full fee for new commissions is usually between $3,000 and $7,000 depending on the details. A revoicing of an existing arrangement is less. In addition to our commissions with individual choirs, we are collecting interest from groups who might like to pitch in on a commissioning consortium to make it more affordable for everyone involved. Past consortiums have often included individual groups "buying in" at around $500 - sometimes less, sometimes more, depending on the size of the choir. "Buying in" gets your group's name included on the published score in perpetuity, but more importantly, once a song has enough "backers," that's how it makes its way to the front of the line and goes into production!
