Shabbaton Bern  27th to the 29th of October 2023

At the end of October we said goodbye to our personal SUJS Rabbi Josh Ahrens, who is now the new Rabbi of Bern. We take this as an opportunity to plan an intense weekend in his new congregation Bern to properly celebrate his election. You can look forward to a big and delicious Shabbat dinner, a guided tour of the city, to meeting many new people and a lot of partying!

The capital of Switzerland is a beautiful city and offers many highlights worth seeing. In addition it is easily accessible for people arriving from other places.


The costs for participants living outside of Bern are:
- 150.00 Swiss francs (155.00 euros) for those under 30.
- 200.00 Swiss francs (210.00 euros) for over 30s. 
- 300.00 Swiss Francs (320.00 Euro) for persons who are not members of a Jewish community. 

The participation fee includes meals for Shabbat and hotel accommodation. Single rooms are available for an additional charge of 120.00 francs. 

 
For participants from Bern:
- 25.00 francs Friday night dinner.
- 50.00 francs for the whole Shabbaton. 
- 100.00 francs for persons who are not members of a congregation.
