The People’s Nonprofit Accelerator (formerly Willamette Valley Development Officers) has been providing professional development, technical support, capacity building, and education to nonprofit professionals since 1977. Originally focused on developing the skills of development directors and staff in the Willamette Valley, The Accelerator has since expanded to supporting the nonprofit sector with a wide range of leadership and other professional development services throughout Oregon and beyond.

With decades of community building, we address the most pressing and timely social, economic and political issues through a lens of resource and skill building. We provide training in fundraising, leadership, and grant writing, along with member-informed programming rooted in community, access, and opportunity. Committed to accessibility, we prioritize greater opportunities for BIPOC, marginalized individuals, and grassroots organizations to expand their resources and leadership in the nonprofit sector.
