Achievement Blue Criteria
An Achievement Blue can be received annually. Athletes are nominated based on their performance(s) and achievements from the beginning of Term 4 2018 to the end of the Term 3 holidays 2019.

It is awarded only to those athletes who perform/achieve at a very high level in their chosen code. The size of the competitive field within the sport determines whether athletes need to achieve at a Regional, South Island or National level to receive an Achievement Blue.
Service Blue Criteria
A Service Blue can only be received once throughout a student's time at Wakatipu High School to recognise their significant contribution to a sporting code.

The athlete must have contributed to the Wakatipu High School community in their chosen sport and given service for at least three years i.e coaching, umpiring, managing. This award solely recognises service in its purest form and is no longer about multiple years of participation.

This nomination must be supported by a referee i.e a coach, manager or teacher in charge.

The student must always display good team spirit, adhere to the fair play principles and the Wakatipu High School values of Excellence, Respect, Responsibility, Resilience and Diversity.
