OVERVIEW
The survey consists of questions related to communication access in a variety of settings as experienced by Kansas residents who are D/deaf or hard of hearing (D/HH) during the Covid-19 pandemic. Settings include employment, education, healthcare, and miscellaneous community settings. The survey information is being compiled by Kansas Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (KCDHH).
PURPOSE
- To engage Kansas’s D/HH residents in a dialogue about communication during the pandemic
- To identify current D/HH communication access needs in Kansas
- To inform planning for future KCDHH advocacy efforts
