Pathways Writing Registration Agreement
Please review the following policies carefully.
By submitting this form, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of enrollment for Pathways Writing.
Program Commitment

Enrollment in Pathways Writing is a full-year commitment (28 weeks).
Tuition reserves your student’s place in class for the full academic year.

Tuition & Payment

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your student’s spot.

Tuition may be paid:
• in full (includes a $25 discount)
• in two semester payments
• through an agreed-upon monthly payment plan
• or through approved charter school funding

Payment Policy

Payments are expected on time.
If a payment issue arises, please communicate as soon as possible so we can work together on a solution.

Pathways Writing reserves the right to pause participation if tuition payments fall significantly behind.

Charter School Funding

Families using charter funds are responsible for submitting purchase orders on time and ensuring payments are approved and processed.

A $25 annual administrative fee applies to charter-funded enrollments.

Any unpaid balances not covered by the charter school remain the responsibility of the family.

Attendance & Missed Classes

Regular attendance is important for student success.

* No refunds or make-up classes are provided for missed classes
* Materials and assignments will be provided when possible

Homework & Editor Requirement

Students are expected to complete weekly writing assignments at home.

Each student must have an editor (parent, tutor, or designated adult) who:
* reviews assignments
* marks errors
* supports the editing process

The editor does not need to teach the lesson—only assist with revisions.

Communication & Technology

Families are expected to join the class communication platform (BAND), which will be used for announcements, reminders, weekly class recaps and reference photos of the board from class.

Students will submit a typed final draft of their weekly assignments through IEW Gradebook.

Parents of younger students are welcome to assist with typing as needed.

Classroom Expectations

Students are expected to:
  * participate respectfully
  * come prepared
  * complete assignments to the best of their ability

A positive, focused classroom environment is essential for all students.

Withdrawals & Refunds

Enrollment is a commitment for the full year.

* The deposit is non-refundable
* Tuition is non-refundable once the school year begins

If a student withdraws, remaining tuition may still be owed depending on the timing and circumstances.

Schedule Changes
Pathways Writing reserves the right to make adjustments to the schedule if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
Communication

Clear communication is important.

Please reach out with any questions or concerns throughout the year. I am happy to partner with you to support your student’s success.
