Intercultural Pedagogy Community of Practice (ICPCP)
Intercultural Pedagogy Community of Practice (ICPCP)
Facilitated by: Paula J Pedersen and Helen Mongan-Rallis

For those of you who wonder: What does a culturally inclusive classroom look like? How can I integrate more diverse content into my course? Why should I? What does my teaching have to do with Goal 2 of UMD's strategic plan?

If you are interested in joining a community of practice to explore these questions and integrate these practices into your fall course(s). Please join us! We will focus on inclusive pedagogy and curriculum integration of diverse/intercultural content. ALL disciplines APPLY!!

We will kick off with lunch and a partial day - followed by bi-monthly community of practice sessions. Participants are asked to be available for most sessions. Each participant will be encouraged to have a current course they are working with throughout the semester or planning for the future (though it is not required for participation.)
