Imara Roose Inc. is a holistic, inclusive, and transformative mentoring program that assists high school girls with actualizing and maximizing their greatness—personally, academically, and professionally—by empowering them with the knowledge, skills, and social capital necessary to break through systemic barriers to equitable access and opportunity.
Imara Roose is open to all girls (9th-12th grade) who attend Eleanor Roosevelt High School (ERHS) in Greenbelt, MD.
Imara Roose is for girls of color, by women of color. We're looking for black and brown women to support our efforts by serving in one or more of the following roles: executive board, committees, mentor, guest speaker, and/or as a members of our network. Additionally, we need members of our community to help us amplify awareness.
