Green HUB

INTRODUCTION

The “Green HUB - Students’ Club” is an institutional body established for ensuring a clean, green and innovative environment of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and thereby emphasizing eco-sustainable environment at present and future.

Green HUB Is the parent body and the students’ club  will be controlled under the parent body. 


OBJECTIVE

To educate community about environmental issues and topics of conservation, bring students and faculty members together to discuss pressing ecological issues and host events, volunteer and assist in “green” campus initiatives, and connect with the local community in “green” projects.

Accordingly, the GHSC (Green HUB - Students’ Club) is responsible to establish appropriate eco-sustainable practices to create a greener environment that consists of the following properties,

  • Using less energy
  • Clean air
  • Re-store environment by using appropriate plants
  • Managing water and electricity
  • Minimal waste
  • Green Innovations
