Mode Shift Omaha, The Hunger Collaborative, Bike Union Mentoring Project, Live Well Omaha, and Omaha Bikes are seeking volunteers to mentor with the many Omaha area residents who have daily struggles with transportation. A recent survey by Hunger Collaborative Staff showed that 40% of clients have a daily issue with transportation! These included simple things such as access to bike repair, unable to carry food on bikes, and unable to get to work with current transportation.

We will be working with Hunger Collaborative's clients to determine what individuals who respond need to get from point a to point b. With generous funding from Mode Shift Omaha, we will gather community volunteers to mentor these clients and help break down their transportation barriers!

If you may be interested in helping break this cycle of hunger and poverty, please fill out the form below, and we will contact you if you're are in a focus area! Thank you!

What active transportation methods do you use?
What time of year do you use active transportation?
What intersections do you regularly use active transportation? i.e. daily commute, regular errands, etc. (for example: from 24th & Dodge to 10th & Howard)
