Petition - Queen Street Pedestrian and Cycling Bridge

Queen Street Bridge connects Altona Meadows to Altona, and beyond. It is used by 16,000 vehicles a day but it is missing a safer way for cyclists and pedestrians to cross.

Between 2016 and 2021, twenty-six crashes occurred on Queen Street between Victoria and Maidstone streets. Ten crashes involved cyclists and four resulted in serious injury.

That’s why we are asking you to join us in calling for funding for a Queen Street Pedestrian and Cycling Bridge across Laverton Creek.
