The Transportation Alternatives Youth Committee is an initiative designed to engage and empower NYC teens in professional skill development, advocacy, community organizing, and fostering discussions on environmental justice and transit equity. This committee aims to provide a platform for young people to become active participants in creating sustainable, equitable, and accessible transportation systems within their communities. The committee will also offer opportunities for you to develop essential professional skills, including communication, leadership, teamwork, public speaking, event planning, and project management. These skills will enhance your ability to effect positive change in your communities and beyond.
