Through the Public School Tutoring Program of Hillsdale College, volunteer college students provide free tutoring services to students of Hillsdale County's public schools. If you are interested in receiving free virtual weekly tutoring services via ZOOM for your child, ward, student, or yourself, please, fill out the following form. If you would like to meet in person, that is also an option with many of our tutors! Following the submission of an application, you will receive an e-mail within a week concerning the status of your application. Services cannot be guaranteed, but we make every attempt to match applicants with tutors. Please, direct any questions or concerns to Program Coordinator Marybeth Brauns (
mbrauns@hillsdale.edu).
A Note for Parents/Guardians & Students:
- Parents/guardians and students may apply for free tutoring services outside of school hours. If you are interested in the possibility of your child/ward or yourself receiving tutoring during school, feel free to let the student's teacher or school administrator know about our services so they can apply for tutoring during school hours.
- Please verify that your email address is correct! If it is incorrect, we cannot contact you to set up tutoring sessions.
A Note for Teachers & School Administrators:
- Teachers and school administrators may apply for free tutoring services during school hours. If you think the student would benefit from receiving tutoring after school hours, feel free to let parents/guardians know about our services so they can apply for after-school tutoring.
