Human Resource Development Major Standing Application
This application serves as confirmation that you have completed the necessary requirements to earn major standing, and be moved from Pre-HRD standing into the HRD major.

This application should be submitted during the semester you are taking your final HRD Core course (courses listed below). Applications are reviewed after grades post each semester, and you will be notified via e-mail if you have successfully earned major standing.

Major standing is a great time to meet with your academic adviser. During your major standing appointment we will discuss your:
1. March course registration day and timeline
2. Remaining course requirements for graduation
3. Upcoming deadlines for major standing, internship, and graduation applications
4. Contact information for internship coordinator and types of questions to ask
After the appointment you’ll be able to:
1. Project graduation date based on personal academic goals
2. Set an internship or career based goal for the semester
3. Make a handshake profile and search for opportunities
Our hope is to help increase your awareness of industries and job opportunities for Human Resources professionals
