What is the Talisman?
We're the forever-present, eccentric and intelligent voice of WKU’s student body. And we would love for you to work with us.
The modern Talisman publishes a life and culture magazine once a semester. The magazine includes feature stories and photojournalism covering WKU and Bowling Green.
We also publish content daily on our website, WKUTalisman.com. The website is a quirky platform for our most creative content. Established in 2015, WKUTalisman.com aims to be a smart and humorous voice in the campus conversation. Our web team exists without creative limits.
Founded in 1924, the Talisman used to be the official yearbook of WKU. The award-winning publication was revered as one of the best yearbooks in the country. The Talisman broke the mold of traditional yearbooks with award-winning photography and powerful journalistic writing. We're still carrying that freethinking mindset on today.
You can sort of call the Talisman a magazine. You could also call it a website. It used to be a yearbook.
But it’s not just any of those things. It’s the Talisman.
