We do not want financial barriers to prevent any family from sending their children or youth to camp. Thanks to multiple fundraisers held throughout the year, along with financial contributions from supportive members of First Unitarian Church, we have been able to establish a tuition assistance fund to help children go to camp who might not be able to afford the full registration fee otherwise.
We work hard together to raise the money so that all children and youth who wish to can go to camp, and there’s usually more need than funds available. Before completing your request for funds, please consider how much you think you can contribute to your child’s camp tuition this year. Because funds are limited, there is no guarantee that we will be able to provide all of the help requested. Tuition assistance is
only available to members of First Unitarian Church, and children who are registered in the First Unitarian Family Ministry program. All requests are confidential.
Please first complete an on-line camp registration for your child(ren) and provide the church with the $50/camper deposit. Then complete this tuition assistance request form. A complete registration must be on file in order to consider a tuition assistance request. If the $50 deposit poses an undue hardship, please contact the Senior Minister.
The registration and tuition assistance request must be received before June 18th to be considered. These funds are reserved for members of First Unitarian Church, and non-members may be considered by a case by case basis. Applicants will be notified of the amount of their funding by June 24th. Refunds of deposits will be made for any campers who decide they can not attend camp.
