Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia Mission:Better Bike Share Partnership Values: As part of the Better Bike Share Partnership (BBSP), the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia provides FREE educational community classes and rides while using Indego Bike Share as a primary tool.
Our programming focuses on the following:
- Serving low-income with accessible resources
- Underrepresented communities
- BIPOC communities
- Career Empowerment
- Access to green spaces
- increasing mental & physical health
- Having Fun!
BBSP Classes & Rides Overview:
The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia offers the following educational programs this year:
Learn to Ride Classes
- Must be located within walking distance of an Indego station
- 10 - 12 people class capacity. (Depending on Indego Station's capacity to hold bikes)
- These classes require an open space at least the size of a basketball court
- 2-hour in-person class
- Using Indego 2.0 bicycles (No E-Bikes)
Partner Community Group Rides- All bicycle rides must begin and end at the same Indego station.
- 10 - 15 people ride capacity. (Depending on Indego Station's capacity to hold bikes)
- Rides are paced at a leisurely rate
- The ride is approximately 40-60 minutes long.
- Using Indego Pedal Assist bicycles (E-Bikes)
- Option to bring-your-own bicycle

Organizations requesting a ride or class must meet or hold the event within the Indego service area -
- Low-income Communities
- Individuals for whom English is a second language
- Underrepresented Communities
- BIPOC Communities
- Immigrants or Undocumented Communities
- LGBTQIA+ Communities
- Organizations focusing on career empowerment and leadership development
- Youth Programming (14 years and older)
