It is necessary to urge the authorities to provide hostel facilities for all students, as the high cost of accommodation outside campus places a financial burden on them.  *
We appeal to the Academic Section to prioritize student needs by delinking semester registration from fee payments, just as fee payment was separated from result announcements. This crucial change would ensure no student faces academic disruption due to temporary financial constraints. *
The student aid selection process requires greater transparency. Publishing clear guidelines and communicating allocation decisions sensitively would help students understand eligibility criteria and application outcomes. In the previous semester, some students were selected for the aid while some were not. The criteria for the selection and final announcement regarding student aid were not made public.
We demand transparency regarding the procedure for the provision of student aid.

The TISS Student Union has been non-operational for over a year, severely limiting students' ability to collectively voice concerns and advocate for their interests. Despite this, a ₹500 Student Union fee continues to be levied in every semester.

Provide justification for collecting this fee in the absence of a functional Student Union

*
We urge the administration to reinstate a democratically elected Student Union at the earliest. *
