In this workshop, we will dive into the concept of consent—in both words and movement—while also discovering how empowering it can feel to clearly express yourself and honor the needs of others.
Whenever we connect with people, there are wishes, requests, negotiations, and answers—yes, no, or maybe. For some of us, this comes naturally; for others, it can feel unclear or challenging. Together, we will learn to notice physical and emotional boundaries, practice expressing our wishes, and listen deeply to others. By becoming more aware of the subtle cues in our bodies and in our partners’ bodies, we can build confidence and feel more empowered to communicate with honesty and care.
This workshop is especially for people who want to feel more empowered in expressing or recognizing consent, would like to better notice and understand others’ responses, wish to communicate their own answers more clearly.
