Over 1,000 employees from a variety of frontier AI companies have already signed, with around 80% signing publicly under their name.

Please feel free to share this with other employees at your company, but please do not discuss or share publicly until the completed statement is published.

The idea for the statement and its content are sourced from employees of frontier AI companies. Two independent nonprofits, Guidelight AI Standards and Encode AI, are providing organizational support. Guidelight is helping verify signatures, and your submission of this form is private to just Guidelight.

By frontier AI companies, we mean companies seeking to develop AI models at or near the frontier of general capabilities. This can include neolabs or startups who are credibly attempting to do so but have not yet done so.

Because this letter is addressed to the US government, we've made the decision not to accept signatories from Chinese companies at this time. We've been excited to hear interest from a wide swath of AI developers, and we encourage everyone to make their voice heard.

Public comment
Optional. On the website, we plan to include short comments from signatories, which we believe will help with the statement's press coverage. For instance, use the comment to describe why you signed, or to add nuance to your individual views.

If you find this is taking more than two or three minutes, our recommendation is to please just submit the form without comment for now. We encourage you to comment afterward by emailing verifications@guidelight.ai with "Comment" in the subject.
