Speaker Series - Dr. Simran Jeet Singh - Sikh Prof.

On Sunday February 21st from 7:30 - 9:00 PM pm, the Sikh Student Association at the University of Michigan will be hosting an open conversation and discussion led by Dr. Simran Jeet Singh (@simran on Instagram and Twitter), author of Fauja Singh Keeps Going and American educator, writer, and activist for Religion News Service. He also is an accomplished professor with graduate degrees from Harvard and Columbia, and he speaks regularly on issues of diversity, inclusion and equity.

We will be discussing the topic of Representation: What Being Seen Means to The Marginalized as it is pertinent to Sikhi. We are honored to have Prof. Singh to help lead this discussion!
