Self-Defense & Stranger Danger Class
WHO: Anyone ages 3 and older

WHEN: Wednesday, February 12th (Various class times listed below)

WHERE: McClellan's Taekwondo Academy
5564 N. Hamilton Road
Gahanna, OH 43230

WHAT: We will be offering a FREE community event for any individual age 3 and older to learn basic self defense skills as well as stranger danger techniques. In light of the recent event in the Preserve neighborhood (located directly behind the taekwondo school), we want to provide children with basic and useful moves and tips to be better prepared if someone were to approach them.

Former elementary school teacher and Fifth Degree Black Belt, Christie McClellan, will be touching on basic self-defense moves that are easy for children to remember as well as the awareness of Stranger Danger and helpful tips.

It can be very nerve-wracking to step into a martial arts school for the first time and practice self defense moves with a peer. How can you make it a little easier? Bring a friend! Everyone is welcome to attend, as long as they are 3 years old and older.

This is a FREE event that will be held on Wednesday, February 12th. We will not be putting a cap on the number of students we are accepting for this event and will make sure that everyone is knowledgable and prepared with their self defense basics and stranger danger safety.
