SVSU Invites Quotes/Messages of "Guru Nanak Dev ji" with inspirational messages and learning in today's context
Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU), established by Government of Haryana, at Dudhola village of Palwal District, Haryana is celebrating 550th birth anniversary of the Great Saint Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, as a Saint as it is assumed, carried the responsibility of ameliorating destiny of mankind. The Great Baba was an enlightened soul, the apostle, the mystic, acetic, a musician, a poet.

The teachings of the first Sikh Guru not only give, a unique insight to the problems in those days but also apply to problem solving, in the modern day obstacles and complications as well. The narrations of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji are compiled in the form of poetic hymns.

A prominent and popular quote, for instance, in one of the wordings he says “Nanak, Naam Jahaz hai| Chadhei So Utre Paar||” which implies Nanak himself is reciting to give the path of truth or gyaan (knowledge) to the people around including himself. Even in today’s scenario, the knowledge is, the only source of wealth which an individual acquires that, take him/her to the path of success.

The teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev still resonate, and hold true with the issues of life. Therefore, seeking lessons from the Guru Ji itself, Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU) is planning to publish a quote book on the teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and its interpretations. The objective of this activity is to get the acumen of the poetic hymns/quotes spoken by the Guru Ji himself and the contemporary applications of those wordings in the real life. These poetic hymns/quotes in modern day act as management mantras to help an individual move towards the effective, efficient and healthier way of living and steer the ship towards success.

In this activity, SVSU is inviting individual/research scholars/poets/philologist to contribution quotations for the book along with its interpretation. Shortlisted quotations will be published in the book. Last date for receipt entry is 25th May 2019. All are required to fill in the required information.
