The Digital Media Intern is a three month, hands-on opportunity to assist in digital marketing that will include, but not limited to email, content, partnerships and social media marketing.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage digital media presence- Assist in developing paid and organic digital media strategies for the organization- Engage in community outreach to related groups, blogs, web sites and other industry influencers.- Perform day-to-day social media activities. Tasks include crafting new content, gathering content from others, community building efforts, online advocacy, promotions, etc.- Research, present and implement media/creative ad plans, results and tests.- Create marketing materials for the organization- Update the website regularly
The ideal candidate will be collaborative motivated, outgoing, and professional. Learning our processes is vital to this role while contributing your own ideas and experiences.
- Knowledge of digital media platforms like Mailchimp, Instagram, Power Editor, etc.- Experience developing digital media strategies- Solid understanding of WordPress management- Strong analytical skills- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and photography is a plus.
Candidate can work remotely, if applicable.
The internship is unpaid, but we can work with your college to get credit if applicable.
If you want to intern at another time, we are open to other semesters as well.
