The Virginia household water quality program is an annual program facilitated by your local extension agent with the help of specialists from Virginia Tech to ensure Goochland County residents are able to receive accurate and affordable water testing result from your wells used for drinking, cleaning, farm/land use, and many other uses. We would love to have you participate in this year's program!
Sample Kit Pick Up: Tuesday, October 6th, at the Goochland Extension Office listed below (9am-5pm). A drive-thru kit pickup is also available (5pm -6:00pm).
Sample Return: Wednesday, October 7, between 7am and 9am at the location listed below.
Result/Interpretation Meeting: Tuesday, December 1st @6 pm

Payment Information: Payment MUST be received to reserve your kit. Payment will be accepted by credit card or an alternative method upon request (checks and cash).
Note: Please refer to the flyer for specific information on sample kit pickup. Sample kits are $70.00 each for those who want to test more than one well or multiple tests of the same well before and after a filtration system (First Come, First Served: Max Kits Per Person Are 2 Kits with ONLY 100 total kits available). Payments must be made no later than October 5th, 2026
