As more and more learning activities require access to the internet, our district has made a commitment to providing mobile learning devices to all students.  For the 23/24 school year, this access includes the provision of a chromebook for use to all students in grades 3 through 12.  The use of a YCSD device is a privilege extended to students for use inside and outside the school facility.  The District’s devices are designed to be used as tools for online collaboration, curriculum enhancement, research, communication, and productivity.

All devices are and remain the property of the YCSD and are provided to the students for a period of time as deemed appropriate by the building administration and the student’s teacher(s).  With this privilege comes responsibility and as a condition of use, students and parents must sign this contract and consent form, and agree to and comply with the guidelines.
