2016 Touch of Vermont Holiday Gift Market Waitlist Application
Ahead you will find the Registration and Application Form for the Touch of Vermont Holiday Gift Market 2016, which takes place at Montpelier City Hall Auditorium on Saturday, December 10, 2016.

The Holiday Gift Market will provide an opportunity for Vermont business owners to sell their products and services, to barter gifts and goods with each other and this year we are excited to partner with The Family Center of Washington County (www.fcwcvt.org) who serve the families, youth and children in Washington County, Vermont.

Raffle Items & Grand Prizes
Fundraising for the Family Center of Washington County will include the sale of raffle tickets for donated items that will be raffled off throughout the day. There will also be Grand Prize Raffles at the end of the day. As part of this fundraising effort, all vendors are being asked to donate an item of at least $35 in value for the raffle.

Bartering
Vendors are encouraged to barter with and purchase from each other. When we give each others' items as holiday gifts, we help each other out twice, both by the purchase and by exposing our loved ones to some of the fabulous items made and sold Vermont. Vendors are encouraged to trade with each other at any time during the Gift Market.

Set up/Agenda
Vendor set up for the Market will start at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2016. Vendors will be assigned arrival times to stagger the use of the single elevator. (A small number of vendors that need extended set-up time will load in between 4 and 6 p.m. on Friday December 9). The doors will open to the public on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m. Breakdown of your exhibit can begin no sooner than 4:00 p.m. The auditorium will close for the day at 6:00 p.m.

Promotion
The Holiday Gift Market will be promoted extensively throughout Central Vermont. All forms of media will be targeted including radio talk shows, Public Service Announcements in local and regional newspapers and radio stations, advertisements, flyers, social media and publications. I am excited about the Holiday Gift Market and the opportunity it will provide Vermont business owners and the Family Center of Washington County.

I look forward to receiving your application by Friday, September 9, 2016. All applications will be juried. You will receive confirmation of acceptance or denial by mid-October. Thank you for applying.

Sincerely,

Claire Georges
Market Manager

First choice arrival time *
There is only one elevator up to the Market space, so we are staggering elevator use times. You may use the stairs at any time, but keep in mind that they are at the front of the building (most of the parking is in the rear). Please choose your top three arrival times. A small number of vendors may also set up between 4 and 6 the evening before the event (vendors must leave by 6PM). These vendors must sign a “hold harmless” agreement for the security of their items overnight. The Market officially opens at 9 am. We reserve the right to assign you a different arrival time.
Second choice arrival time *
If we can't give you your first choice, what is your second choice arrival time. Please sign the Friday night hold harmless agreement if this is your second choice.
Hold Harmless for Friday night load-ins *
I understand that there is no security provided for items left overnight (Friday, December 9 to Saturday, December 10) in the Lost Nation Theater space in Montpelier City Hall. I agree to hold harmless the Touch of Vermont Holiday Gift Market, Claire Georges, Butterfly Bakery, the Family Center of Washington County, Lost Nation Theater and the City of Montpelier for any theft, damage, fire, etc. that occurs to items left in City Hall overnight.
