All staff members of Virginia Girls State (including counselors) are expected to attend the full Session of the program, except in the case of an unexpected emergency.
First time counselors are referred to as junior counselors and must be paired with senior counselors.
The Assistant Director will contact you regarding your application. If you are chosen, she will provide dates and uniform requirements of the next Session of Virginia Girls State.
A t-shirt is provided to all counselors; all other articles of clothing are the responsibility of the individual.
