About Safe and Sound Protocol
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a therapeutic listening intervention developed by Dr. Stephen Porges that uses specially filtered music to help regulate the nervous system. It supports feelings of safety, calm, and connection by stimulating the vagus nerve and improving the body’s ability to shift out of stress responses. It's a total of 5 hours of music intended to be listened to in segments which we will do in this program in virtual zoom groups over 10 weeks.
