Application: Project Manager of 'La Rampa' (Peru)
CJF is actively looking for volunteers to help manage the skatepark 'La Rampa' in Cerrito de la Virgen, Huanchaco, Peru. The Project Manager is a long-term position, open to applicants willing to commit to a minimum of 6 months functioning in the role, but longer periods are preferred.

As Project Manager you will help to manage the entire skatepark and all its components. You will be the go to contact person with questions and serve as a link between the activities on the ground and the skatepark in El Cerrito de la Virgen. You will be managing and coordinating:

- Staff in their respective positions
- Sustaining current projects and programmes, monitoring data and reporting
- Development of new projects at the skatepark
- Decisions in the day-to-day management of the park
- Skatepark finances and payroll staff
- International volunteers
- Communication with the international CJF team

Required Volunteer Profile:

- You are at least 21 years of age
- Skateboarding experience and knowledge
- You are interested in using sports for sustainable development
- Coordination, organisation and management experience
- You are self-motivated, proactive in your work-ethics and take responsibility for the tasks you take on
- Diligence in keeping up with administration
- You posses basic computer literacy (using Google Drive and software like Word and Excel)
- You speak English and have excellent communication skills, basic Spanish skills also required
- You provide us with a criminal background check since you’ll be working with (vulnerable) children
- You report to your supervisor about your work and ask for feedback before implementing new ideas
- Minimum time commitment of 6 months

CJF is a volunteer-based charity organisation. As such, please note that this position is unpaid and a monthly volunteer contribution fee is required to accommodate you, to sustain our work at the skatepark and to support and coordinate your volunteering experience during your stay in Peru. The value of the volunteer contribution fee depends on the volunteer's time commitment and the position in question.

The Project Manager is exempt from any additional volunteering fees. They only pay their rent, which is around $300 USD per month. The Project Manager receives a monthly compensation for every international volunteer they manage at the project.

You will have a room at our homestay location, all within 1 mile from the skatepark and the beach. We have wifi and laundry options nearby.
