CKM Co-Priority Survey Working Group (Expression of Interest Form)

Community Knowledge Matters (CKM) is collaborating with Professor Sarah-Anne Munoz (Division for Rural Health and Wellbeing, UHI) to develop a survey to better understand the priorities around mental health and wellbeing across the Highlands & Islands, as well as gathering thoughts around how communities and researchers could work better together in this work.

We are looking for community members (either as individuals or representing community organisations) based in the Highlands and Islands who are interested in co-designing and co-analysing this priority setting survey as part of a working group.

No previous experience of working in research is needed. We will be looking for 4 individuals to join this working group with a wide range of experiences. We anticipate that this will involve around 8 - 10 meetings between December 2023 and July 2024.

We expect that successful candidates to the working group will be able to attend the first meeting which will be on either:

  • Monday 4 December 12 - 2pm
  • Monday 4 December 2 - 4pm
  • Tuesday 5 December 11-12.30
  • Wednesday 6 December 9-10.30

To find out more about the working group and the co-priority survey, please see here

We also also holding an online information session about the working group, offering you the chance to find out more and ask any questions, on Thursday 23 November 12 - 1pm. You can sign up for this information session through this quick form here

Who are you and what communities do you belong to?

We know we can’t make the working group fully representative but want to make sure we are representing different experiences from the communities across the Highlands and Islands. This could be either a geographical community, or a community of experience or identity.
*
Do you have any experience of developing a research survey and/or working with researchers?

No experience is necessary and we’re looking for at least two working group members who may have less experience of research and/or are often underrepresented in research processes.
*
Why are you interested in this working group?

Please describe in a few sentences your motivation for joining this working group, what you would like to get out of it, what you might be able to contribute and/or what most interests you about this.
*
Can you commit to the 8 - 10 meetings we anticipate this working group will require?

Meetings are likely to last between 1 - 2 hours and will require a similar amount of time in preparation before-hand.
*
Are you available on any of the following dates for our first working group meeting?

Whilst the first date is a bit more set, the rest of the dates will be negotiated collaboratively. Please select all the dates that you are available but note that we will only be meeting on one of these times. Ideally our preference will be for the Monday which will allow us more time to meet.
