(1) You can find our whole team
here and may wish to reach out to someone directly.
(2) Alternatively, if you're not sure where to start or you know that your interests don't slot neatly into a religious tradition, then this form can help us connect you with someone who can
chat with you one-on-one about
your own questions of meaning, purpose, and spirituality.
The range of topics for these conversations is broad and we have no agenda of our own other than to meet you where you are.
For example, you may be seeking individualized support on your spiritual or philosophical path. You may have had a positive, negative, or ambiguous life experience and would like to explore its meaning with someone. Or you may not really not be sure what you'd like to discuss, but you're curious about what it would be like to have someone's compassionate listening ear.
People of any ability, sexual orientation, gender expression, religious background, and racial or ethnic background are welcome at ORSEL. After filling out this form, we will get back to you promptly to arrange a conversation, typically in our confidential offices in W11.
Please note that this is not a crisis line. If you need immediate help, MIT Mental health clinicians are available 24 hours a day for urgent matters at 617-253-2916.
