There are a number of speaking slots reserved for new and budding presenters from the Google for Education community. 5 of those slots are 50 minutes sessions, with the rest will be short, 10mins 'Lightning' Talks. Applications for speaking slots will close on Monday 11th February (after which we'll notify successful presenters). Please read the tips below before submitting. Good luck!
Tips - 50min Session:- Please only submit session ideas which are hands-on (everybody will bring their own device and we can support with demo logins if necessary)- If possible, share something that you have done in your classroom/organisation - it's much easier to deliver, share ideas and answer questions about something when you already have experience with it- Bear in mind that each session is 50 minutes long and there should be time at the end and/or throughout for Q&A- Sharing your organisation's story is fine, but your session should allow people time to get hands-on with the tools in order to understand what worked and why your story is a success.
Tips - Lightning Talk (10mins)- These talks do not have to be hands on. They can be on an interesting but less well known product or a feature, or be concerned with more wide-ranging topics such as implementing G Suite or school-wide strategies.- These will be presented to the whole audience, therefore keep away from a topic that is too advanced or too beginner-level.
