Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) Mobility for All Network - Accessibility Survey

Uplifting Universal Design, Eradicating Barriers for People with Mobility Disabilities, and Improving Mobility for Everyone.

The DTLA Mobility for All Network is led by a group of civic leaders and community organizations dedicated to improving the public realm—sidewalks, streets, transit stations—for everyone. We want to enhance the public joy of experiencing and traveling in DTLA.

The goal of a DTLA Mobility for All Network is to make DTLA safer and easier to travel, with better access to transit and with new physical and virtual locations for people to be picked up and dropped off safely in Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs).

This survey is open to everyone. We aim to amplify the lived experiences of people who travel with various mobility disabilities by removing barriers and dangers in the public right of way and transit stations. If you do not identify as having disabilities or caring for a person or child with disabilities, please select "other" when the question asks who you are answering the survey for.

The survey results will support our work with a broad-based group of organizations and volunteers to catalog mobility impediments and infrastructure needs through comprehensive infrastructure assessments and curb audits.

With improved infrastructure and the creation of a dynamic, digital DTLA Mobility for All Network Map, we strive to make DTLA a nationwide and worldwide model of accessibility for people of all ages and abilities and a desirable location for people of all abilities to live, work, and play. Los Angeles is a global city that will host numerous international sporting events in the next decade. It is a growing residential neighborhood and a major commercial and cultural destination. We must make Downtown safer and easier for everyone to navigate.

We are pleased to partner with numerous transportation agencies that support achieving the goal of universal access for people of all abilities, resulting in a safer mobility ecosystem for all.
