Thank you for your interest in helping to launch the
Human Rights Empathy Rotary Action Group. In 1940, Rotary International passed a human rights resolution in Havana, Cuba, which stated,
“where freedom, justice, truth, sanctity of the pledged word, and respect for human rights do not exist, Rotary cannot live nor its ideal prevail.”
Rotary Fellowships are for Rotary members only. Rotary Action Groups may include 20% of its membership from consultants.
This effort is being coordinated by Rotarian since 1981, Chuck Watts, Dayton, Ohio, Rotary Club, and funded by his 501(c)3 Empathy Surplus Network USA, where his bio can be found. Here's a link to the RI Standard Bylaws with the proposed name and purpose in RED.
We need 50 Rotarians in 5 countries and 3 zones to apply for Rotary Action Group status. As of September 25, 2025, we have 8 Rotarians in 2 countries and 3 zones. Filling out this form allows us to communicate with you via email, snail mail, and cell phone. You will be added to a directory that is shared with other interested members.
