Hello, Portland startup community
As the Portland startup community continues to grow, it is becoming more and more difficult to meet new people — or learn more about the folks that you'd like to make time to meet. This is an effort to help facilitate that networking through a different channel, with the hopes of introducing you to all sorts of amazing people in the Portland startup community. NOTE: You don't have to be a founder or part of a startup. Responses are welcome from anyone whom the startup community should know, regardless of their occupation. (All sections are required, except the recommendations. Those are optional. And we kindly request that you take the time to suggest folks who are not receiving the attention that they deserve.)
PHOTO: A photo where you are the main subject (preferably, the only subject). The size should be no smaller than 100×100 pixels at 72 dpi in JPG, PNG, or GIF format. Color or black & white. Your call.
NAME: How would you like your name to appear?
BIO: A bio, providing information on what you do, your background, etc in third person. The length of your bio should be between 200 and 500 words. What do you want people to know about you? Feel free to include links.
WHAT ARE YOU UP TO? This question provides you with the opportunity to talk about what you are working on or doing, generally professional and/or interest-oriented. The focus here does not have to be about your professional life (if you have one). You can highlight your non-professional projects and pursuits. Don’t overlap with your bio too much. Feel free to include links.
WHY PORTLAND? Share your thoughts and feelings about Portland. Why are you here? What are the places you like to hang out, shop, eat? This is where you express you favorite things about the city you live in. Feel free to include links.

PERMISSION: You are comfortable with all of the answers you have provided being posted publicly on Silicon Florist.
I understand that all of the information I have provided may be posted to the site Silicon Florist
WHO ELSE? Please send along the names and contact information of five people you’d like to see profiled. As part of this effort to raise the visibility of *ALL* Portland entrepreneurs, we would love to see you recommend folks from historically underrepresented groups to be featured. I will send out an brief email to these people with an invitation to participate. Getting direct recommendations is how we'll keep this going.
Meet the Startup, too?
I'm interested in having my company featured on Meet the Startup, a podcast featuring local founders and the companies they're building
