Thank you so much for your interest in the 2026 cohort of the Chicago Women in Architecture Foundation's Ladders to Leadership program!
The criteria to apply are:
- An architect who is a woman, or identifies as a woman, with a minimum of 10 years of experience and a minimum of 4 years running a project team
- Must be seeking a senior level position or starting their own firm within the field of architecture in the near future (3-5 years)
- Must show current leadership ability either through project work (management, technical, and/or design) or professional organizations
- Must be a licensed architect
Classes will take place on the second and fourth Friday of each month between April 2026 - September 2026 from 9:00am - 11:30am. Classes will take place at various locations throughout the Chicago downtown area and will be in person only. No sessions will be recorded in order to create a candid and confidential sharing of information among the cohort.
This program will be free to participants thanks to the generous support of The Driehaus Foundation, AIA Illinois, and members of the CWAF Board of Directors.
