If you need financial assistance
Campers are our most wonderful resource at camp! Sending your child to camp IS making a contribution to our camp community and is not a drain on the system. Money should never be an obstacle to coming to camp. We always want your campers more than we want your money. That is what our scholarship program is for. We ask that each family requesting a scholarship thoughtfully consider how much of the camp fee they can pay and let us know that amount in the space below. Please be as generous as you can while still working realistically with your budget. I would rather you "low ball" what you can pay and get extra in the end than have you overestimate what you can manage and come up short. You can pay in installments; please sketch out a plan for that below (dates and amounts). Please consider augmenting the cash you can contribute with your TIME, SKILLS, or BARTER. Our scholarship program is BIG, and every dollar and in kind donation helps a lot! Families who need to can attend at no cost. But we would like EVERY family who CAN to pay SOMETHING, even $5, it all adds up! Feel free to let us know anything else you would like us to know about your families situation. There is more information about our scholarship program on our website. You are also encouraged to call director Louise Omoto Kessel if you have questions or would like more information. We are deeply committed to inclusion and access and don't turn anyone away for financial reasons so long as space is available and resources permit. We do our best to guarantee placement in TWO camps for each camper regardless of ability to pay. If your camper hopes to come on scholarship to multiple camps, please sign them up for TWO camps and then let us know the other camps they are interested in in order of first choice, second choice etc. We will add them to those camp rosters space permitting.
