Are you interested in gaining professional skills and certifications to stand out in today's challenging job market?

Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman (YTAR) has reopened applications for the Gemilang programme in partnership with Google to offer spots for deserving and underrepresented learners of all backgrounds in Malaysia to upskill and develop themselves professionally in preparation for entering the workforce and for career advancement.

Through this programme, you will be able to learn skills that will allow you to take on an entry-level position focusing on those skills within 3 - 6 months through flexible, self-paced, online lessons held through Coursera. Learners who manage to complete their Course will be awarded industry-recognised certifications that will enable you to begin an entry-level position in that field.

  • Cybersecurity
  • Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
  • Data Analytics
  • UX Design
  • IT Support
  • Project Management
Eligibility Requirement
The Scholarship will only be distributed to Learners who are at least 18 years old and above, and come from socioeconomically disadvantaged or under-represented communities.

Programme Terms
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
Successful participants are required to complete the entirety of one (1) Google Coursera course by June 2025.
