Required Background Check
For the safety of both our students and volunteers, we do require the vast majority of volunteers (18+) complete a background check. We will submit your information to a company called Trusted Employees that will process your background check. You will receive an email from Trusted Employees that will ask for you to provide information about yourself. The background check is valid for five years, or longer if you are a continual volunteer.

There is a $21 cost associated with the background check, which can be paid by credit or debit online when you receive the email from Trusted Employees. We can provide reimbursement for any volunteers for whom the cost of the background check would be a barrier to volunteering.
