KPC Workday @ Memorial Park Conservancy Greenhouse - sign up
The Katy Prairie Conservancy (KPC) has an exciting, new volunteer opportunity in Houston! While the Native Seed Nursery at KPC's field office in Waller is being renovated this winter, the Memorial Park Conservancy has generously offered us use of their greenhouse.  Volunteers will help grow plants that will be used for various KPC spring projects and for the Great Grow Out.

Workdays are scheduled for the FIRST and THIRD THURSDAYS of each month from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

We will be bumping up seedlings given back by Great Grow Out participants and growing many 9 Native plants for a 9 Natives Showcase Garden and for various Prairie Builder Schools + Parks locations.
 
The Memorial Park Conservancy Greenhouse is located in Memorial Park on the south side of Memorial Drive (29.762814, -95.430651), google map: https://goo.gl/maps/2kLw52yWhaM2 . Turn south at the traffic light at East Memorial Loop. See map below. The red X marks the door to the greenhouse.
