FLOHA invites you to say goodbye to winter's open forest views on our Upland Exploratory Hike along the lower Haw River. On this walk you can enjoy the last of the eastern vista across the Haw before the trees and their leaves block the view. This is a ramble in an area that is not heavily used, along the river by the 64 bypass. The hike is mildly strenuous due to an elevation change. A hiking pole/stick and sturdy shoes are suggested as well as water. No dogs please. The hike should take about 1.5 hours.

The hike will be limited to 16 participants.
